Peplio comic

I once watched a good local shop lose customers just because a phone did not show it. This SEO comic story turns that pain into a Durga Puja adventure with Mitu, Seema and a very stubborn Paanwala. Read the comic below, then catch up on all comic episodes if you missed any.

Pujo lights glow, but Mitu’s heart sinks. A family stops right outside her bakery, checks a phone, and walks on to a famous shop. She whispers, “Arre… aap yahin toh the! Idhar aaiye na…” Why did the phone not choose her? “Phone ne mujhe kyun nahi chuna?”

Three days earlier, Mitu was still staring at the 500 cakes number. Seema said, “Mitu, 500 cakes baad mein. Pujo sirf teen hafte door hai.” Sougan arrived and explained: “Shopper pehle phone mein dhundega, phir paidal chalega.” Search comes before footsteps.

Sougan searched ‘Pujo sweets near me’ while dhaak drummers rehearsed. Big shops appeared, but not the bakery. Seema asked dryly, “Hum internet pe exist bhi karte hain ya nahi?” Mitu cried, “Hum… gayab hain? Aaaah!” and fainted into the rasgulla.

Paanwala laughed loudly. “Mera paan khud bolta hai, internet ki zaroorat nahi!” But his stall was on no map, and a tourist walked right past him. Seema said, “Haan, bolta hoga. Par tourist ko sunai nahi deta.”

Why this SEO comic story starts with a missing shop

Remember the family who stood outside Mitu’s bakery and walked away? Their phone showed another shop. Shoppers search first, then walk. That is the heart of local search. Test your own shop by searching “sweets near me” like Sougan did. If you are missing, you are invisible, like Paanwala. I explain the basics in my guide on SEO for small business in India, and Google explains it in its local ranking help page.

Claim and fill your profile: Google Business Profile for small business

Step one is claiming your listing at Google Business Profile, then verifying it. Remember the twist? A cousin had already made Mitu’s listing, with a wrong Closed sign. Check first, then claim or request ownership. Fill every detail honestly: real hours, phone, address. No “open all night” bakery ghosts. Google lists the editing rules clearly. This is the core of local SEO for small business.

The quest began in Kumartuli, where artists shape clay Durga idols. Sougan said, “Murti ko chehra chahiye, dukaan ko profile. Pujo se pehle!” Mitu hid from the giant Mahishasura: “Seema, woh Mahishasura mujhe ghoor raha hai!” Every business needs a face online first. A great SEO comic story starts here.

In a cyber cafe by the pandal lane, Sougan shows step one of this SEO comic story: claim your Google Business Profile and verify it by postcode or call. Mitu panics, “OTP aaya! Ab kya karun? Mera dil dhak dhak kar raha hai!” Aunty taunts, “Internet se kya hoga? Log kya kahenge!”

Twist! Google says the bakery listing already exists, with an unknown owner, a wrong closed sign and an old number. Mitu’s cousin made it years ago. Seema says, “Yeh kaun hai? Hamari dukaan Closed dikha raha hai!” Sougan replies, “Ownership wapas lo, phir sab theek karo. Pehle cousin ko phone!”

In the vegetable market, Sougan explains step two: fill every detail, from name and address to real hours, phone and Pujo timings. Mitu types proudly, “Maine likha, open all day, all night! Sahi hai na?” Seema smirks, “Haan, bakery mein bhoot bhi cake banate hain kya?”

Photos, Pujo sweets and reviews for durga puja marketing

Real photos beat stock images, so Seema shot the shopfront and kitchen. Shrink them first with the Peplio Image Optimizer, because slow pages lose people (see Core Web Vitals). Then add photos and list sandesh, mishti doi and prices as products. Ask happy customers to leave reviews. Good durga puja marketing is simple and honest.

Between giant pandals, Seema photographs the shopfront, kitchen and sweets for the profile. Mitu’s stiff smile ruins every shot. “Mitu, smile karo. Dant dikhao, darr mat dikhao!” Sougan adds, “Real photos stock images se jeette hain. Log asli dukaan dekhna chahte hain.”

At the counter, Sougan shrinks heavy festival photos with the Peplio Image Optimizer so the profile loads fast. Mitu cheers, “Wah! 12 MB se sirf 300 KB! Jaadu hai!” Seema says, “Jaadu nahi, pichhle episode ka lesson hai. Bas dobara kaam aaya.”

Next, they list Pujo products with prices. Seema says, “Sandesh, mishti doi, nolen gur cake, gift box. Naam, price, photo, sab daalo.” Paanwala copies with a sticky note: “Meri bhi listing! Ek chit, PAAN. Ho gaya!” The cow disagrees. This SEO comic story shows that a product list helps people choose you.

Now they ask happy customers for reviews. Mitu worries, “Agar usne ek star de diya toh? Main toh gayi!” Then the first five-star arrives. Sougan jokes, “Reviews naye zamane ka mouth-to-mouth hain. Bas ab ye phone mein chalta hai.” Reviews build trust for nearby buyers.

Noisy Aunty shouts from her balcony, “Internet se kya hoga? Ek customer nahi aayega, likh lo!” A dhaak beat booms behind her. Seema smiles, “Mitu, likh liya. Ab Aunty ki baat note kar lo.” Doubters are loud, but results are louder.

How to get customers during festival: measure and time it

The mystery 500 cake caller came from the profile call log. That is proof. Check your calls and searches in profile performance, and follow Google’s local business guidance if you also have a website. My guide on Google Search Console helps there. Next comes timing: knowing how to get customers during festival also means posting at the right hour. Mahalaya is calling in the next episodes.

The day before Pujo, they search again. This SEO comic story shows the win: the bakery pin glows with photos, hours and stars. Mitu says, “Seema, dekho! Hamari dukaan map pe hai, photos aur stars ke saath!” Paanwala grumbles, “Mera paan khud bolta hai! Map mein kyun nahi aaya?”

A tourist family in new Pujo clothes follows the map straight past Paanwala. He calls, “Arre bhaiya, mera paan khud bolta hai! Ruko toh!” They walk into the bakery. Mitu cries happily, “Aap… hamari dukaan dhoondh ke aaye? Seema, mujhe rona aa raha hai!” Local visibility works.

Noisy Aunty walks in and freezes. Tourists are buying sweet boxes they found on their phones! Then she says, “Maine toh pehle hi bola tha, internet best hai! Sab review dena!” Seema replies, “Haan Aunty, aapka objection bhi recorded hai. Purane message mein.” Reviews help local shops grow.

Sougan shows the profile call log on his phone. “Yeh dekho call log. 500 cake wala caller profile se aaya tha!” The mystery is solved. Mitu hugs her rolling pin and says, “Pujo committee? Mahalaya subah tak? Mera rolling pin kaanp raha hai!”

At dusk, dhaak and conch shells fill the air. Sougan says, “Mahalaya aa raha hai. Sahi time pe post kiya, toh rush double!” Paanwala mutters, “Mera paan khud bolta hai… par aaj chup kyun hai?” This SEO comic story ends with timing next.

That is how this SEO comic story helped Mitu get found, even if Paanwala is still waiting for his paan to speak up. Mahalaya is almost here, so join me in the next episode to learn the right time to post, and keep reading every SEO comic story in the series.

When I started helping local shops and teams with search work, I noticed something funny. People trust a stranger’s review more than a business’s own ad. I saw this again and again in my digital marketing work at Demech Chemical Products in Durgapur, and I turned that lesson into this SEO comic story for Peplio.

Episode 11 continues right after the system Mitu built in Episode 10. Now people find the bakery on Google, but the profile has only four reviews. Then Noisy Aunty drops a 1-star review, and Paanwala tries a very bad shortcut.

Read the comic below first, then come back here for the simple, practical lesson. You can also browse all comic episodes if you want to catch up.

SEO Comic Story Lesson: Real Reviews Ka Formula

Previously on Peplio, the four-step system worked and people noticed the bakery online. Mitu showed her graphs happily. Then a customer said, “Customer bol raha hai, Google pe sirf 4 reviews dikhe. Mitu?” Her knife froze in this SEO comic story.

Seema opened the Google Business Profile. Only four reviews, one from Mitu’s mother. “Char reviews, aur ek tumhari mummy ka. Profile bhi sharmila hai.” Mitu gasped, “Log sochenge dukaan band hai! Hum band ho gaye kya?” Few reviews can look like silence.

Noisy Aunty stormed in, took one bite and shouted, “Haye! Itna meetha! Diwali tak dukaan band, likh ke le lo!” Seema replied, “Aunty, aapne poora slice kha liya. Bas yahi review hai?” Mitu hid, because public opinion feels scary.

Mitu’s phone pinged: a 1-star review, “cake bahut meetha tha”. “1 star! Shop delete karun ya gussa wala reply likhun? Dono?” Seema calmly said, “Phone mujhe do. Pehle saans lo, phir sab kuch.” Angry replies can hurt trust.

Across the street, Paanwala spied through paan-roll binoculars and saw the 1-star. He cackled, “Ha ha! Unka 1 star! Mera rating bhi ab upar jaayega.” His stall sign already had hand-drawn stars. Sadly, a plan like this never ends well in an SEO comic story.

Make it easy with a link and QR code

Nobody wants to type a long link. Sougan showed a review link and a QR code, so customers scan and write in seconds. You can find your link in your profile, and Google Business Profile is where you manage it.

The bakery then put a QR stand on the counter next to the cakes. Less effort means more reviews. Real photos started to arrive too. Print the QR code, place it where people already wait, and say “scan karke batayein, please.”

SEO Comic Story: Paanwala Ke 50 Pappu

Sougan walked in with chai and found Mitu under the counter. He said, “Ek bura review normal hai. Pattern aur jawab dekhna zaroori hai.” Mitu whispered, “Par Google pe sab dekhenge na? Main yahin rahungi.” Reviews build local trust, and one bad one will not sink you. This SEO comic story begins the fix.

Sougan wrote Step 1: ask happy customers right after they enjoy the cake. Mitu tried it too hard, shouting, “Review do! Cupcake khaya na? Ruko! Review do!” Seema sighed, “Pyaar se pooch Mitu, pakadne ka competition nahi hai.” Timing and politeness win genuine reviews.

Step 2 is to make it easy. Sougan showed the Google review link and a QR code. Seema asked, “Itna lamba link koi type karega kya? Smart sawaal hai na?” Sougan grinned, “QR scan karo, review likho. Aunty ki gossip se bhi tez!” Less effort means more reviews.

Step 3 is replying politely. Mitu proudly read her angry draft: “AAPKO MITHAI KA KYA PATA?! Theek hai na?” Sougan crossed it out. “Cross! Shukriya bolo, shaant raho, phir wapas bulao.” Calm replies show future customers that your business is honest and kind.

Brave Mitu closed her eyes and pressed Post. The reply said, “Thank you Aunty, aapke liye kam meetha slice banayenge. Post!” Seema smiled, “Shabaash. Ab behosh mat ho… arre, ho gayi.” Mitu fainted onto bread, but her calm reply was live.

How to respond to Google reviews calmly

Mitu’s first draft was all capital letters and anger. Sougan crossed it out. A good reply says thank you, stays calm, and invites the person back. Her final reply to Aunty offered a less sweet slice, and it worked.

Google shares tips on how to reply to reviews. Remember that future customers read your reply, not just the complaint. To respond to Google reviews well, be short, kind, and specific. For a bigger view of trust online, see why SEO is important.

SEO Comic Story Payoff: QR Code Se Collab Tak

Paanwala copies the bakery idea the wrong way. He calls his cousins, all named Pappu. “Pappu! Pachaas five-star likho aaj. Payment mein paan aur samosa milega!” He thinks fast reviews mean fast trust. This SEO comic story says otherwise.

Within ten minutes, fifty identical reviews appear, all from Pappu accounts with no photos. Noisy Aunty reads them and laughs. “Sab Pappu ko ek hi paan pasand? Kamaal hai!” Paanwala sweats. “Yeh… yeh toh sanyog hai, Aunty!” Customers clearly notice fake reviews.

Mitu and Seema show Sougan the Pappu reviews. He smiles. “Fake review chai ki tarah hai, garam lagta hai par jaldi thanda.” Mitu asks, “Matlab Pappu wale reviews bhi thande honge?” Yes. In this SEO comic story, fake reviews get removed and hurt trust.

Paanwala refreshes his phone and watches the reviews vanish one by one. Now he has zero reviews. “Arre! Mere pachaas Pappu kahan gaye?” His cousins text, “Sorry bhaiya… Google ne pakad liya!” Even a paan leaf wilts. Fake reviews never last.

Never use fake Google reviews

Paanwala asked his cousins, all named Pappu, to write 50 five-star reviews. Google removed them one by one and he was left with zero. Fake Google reviews break Google’s rules, and the prohibited and restricted content policy covers fake engagement clearly.

In India, fake reviews can also raise legal and consumer trust issues. You can read general context on fake reviews on Wikipedia. As I say in the comic: fake review chai ki tarah hai, garam lagta hai par jaldi thanda. Real, slow trust always lasts longer, and you can learn how Google sees quality in the helpful content guidance.

Now the bakery does it right. A QR stand sits by the cakes. Mitu smiles. “Aapko cake pasand aaya? Scan karke batayein, please!” Sougan nods. “Dekha? Polite ask, easy link, real reviews.” Real photos arrive, which helps this SEO comic story’s local trust.

Noisy Aunty saw the new reviews and Mitu’s polite reply. She tried the less sweet slice and changed to 5 stars. “Waah! Ab meetha bilkul sahi hai. Maine toh pehle hi kaha tha!” Seema smiled, “Haan aunty, aapne kuch toh kaha tha. Bilkul yaad hai.” Calm replies can win people back.

Now the bakery had a long queue and a better rating. Mitu showed the phone, “Seema, hum near me search mein upar aa gaye!” Sougan raised his chai, “Real reviews ka asar hai. Cheers, chai ke saath!” Across the street, Paanwala hung an honest sign.

Then Mitu’s phone buzzed. A famous food blogger sent one word: Collab? “Seema! Food blogger ne bheja… Collab? Ab main kya karoon?” Seema smiled, “Pehle baguette chhodo. Phir sochte hain.” Good reviews open new doors in this SEO comic story. TO BE CONTINUED…

Why reviews matter for local visibility

When someone searches for a bakery near them, Google shows local results from business profiles. Reviews are one of the things people read before they visit. Google explains how this works in its guide to improving your local ranking, where review count and score are listed as factors. In the comic, the bakery had only four reviews and one came from Mitu’s mother. Few reviews can look like silence. If you are new to local search, my guide on SEO for small business in India explains the bigger picture. You can read the basics of the topic on Wikipedia too.

Ask happy customers at the right moment

The best time to ask is right after a customer enjoys your product. Mitu tried too hard and shouted, “Review do! Cupcake khaya na?” Seema had to remind her to ask politely. A soft, friendly ask works far better than chasing people. Google has a page on how to get and manage reviews. It also says you can ask customers, but you should not offer rewards for reviews. Keep it simple and honest.

I hope this SEO comic story showed you that real reviews, calm replies and patience beat any shortcut. Keep the lesson from this SEO comic story close, and let your happy customers do the talking. Next, Mitu has to decide what to do about that blogger’s one-word message, so come back for Episode 12.

I once saw a page get hundreds of visitors and almost no enquiries at my own work, so I turned it into this SEO comic story. Mitu’s bakery gets 5000 visitors and zero orders. Read the comic and see why.

Then check my take at the end. It is short, and it may save your next viral day.

Episode 8- Traffic Aaya… Par Customer Kahan?

Mitu stares at the laptop in shock. “Paanch hazaar log aaye… ek bhi cake nahi khareeda!” Seema sighs. “Matlab log aaye, dekha, aur nikal gaye. Mehmaan nahi, tourist.” Traffic without sales is a big warning sign.

Three days earlier, the bakery reel went viral. “Sougan bhaiya, reel viral ho gayi! Ab toh line lagegi!” Sougan smiled. “Line lagegi ya sirf views? Dekhte hain, asli test baaki hai.” Views are not the same as customers.

Noisy Aunty shouted from her balcony. “Haay! Views se pet bharta hai kya? Dukaan band hogi!” Mitu panicked. “Aunty ne nazar laga di! Visitors kahan gaye, Sougan bhaiya?” Something was stopping visitors from becoming customers.

Sougan asked them to act like customers. “Customer ban kar dekho. Order button dhoondo, 5 second mein!” Mitu squinted. “Button toh hai… kahin chhupa hai! Jalebi mein dhaaga jaisa!” Traffic needs a clear path to buy.

At the cyber cafe, Sougan used the free Website Speed Analyzer. “Website Speed Analyzer batata hai: page 9 second mein khulta hai!” Outside, Paanwala cheered. “Meri reel bhi viral! QR scan karo… arre, error aa gaya!” Traffic after a slow page equals lost customers.

Sougan explains, “Traffic matlab mehmaan. Order button matlab dukaan ka counter. Dono chahiye!” Seema adds, “Yaani mehmaan ghar aaye aur sofa pe bithake bhookha rakha.” Visitors need one clear next step, or they leave.

Mitu proudly says, “Maine button bada kar diya! Ab toh andhe ko bhi dikhega!” Sougan replies, “Photos chhoti karo, page tez chalega. Image Optimizer ye free mein karta hai!” Try the Image Optimizer to make your site load faster.

Orders finally arrive. Noisy Aunty says, “Maine toh pehle hi kaha tha, tum jeetoge! Ek cake dena!” Seema replies, “Haan Aunty, bilkul. Aapka ‘nobody buys’ wala bhaashan yaad hai.” Traffic plus a clear next step equals customers. But who is watching?

SEO Comic Story Lesson 1: Traffic Is Not Sales

Mitu saw 5000 visitors and zero orders. Seema called them tourists, not guests. Views and visits are only the start. Look at what visitors do after they land. Google Analytics help shows how to track this, and conversion rate optimization explains the idea. I explain the numbers in my guide on what Google Analytics does.

Match Visitors to Their Intent

The viral reel brought people who wanted fun, not cake. That is a search intent gap. Ask what each visitor wants and give it fast. Google explains this in its helpful content guidance. I explain this fully in my guide on search intent in SEO. Good SEO brings people who can actually buy.

Fix the Hidden Button and Slow Page

Sougan’s 5 second test found a hidden order button, and the page took 9 seconds to open. Make the button big and clear. Compress photos with the Image Optimizer, then recheck with the Website Speed Analyzer. Read Core Web Vitals and Search Console mobile usability help. I explain this fully in my guide on Core Web Vitals.

Track It and Keep Improving

After the fixes, orders came in. Keep watching the data. Set up Google Search Console and read Google’s SEO starter guide. Add your shop details through Google Business Profile too. This SEO comic story ends happily, but real sites need regular checks. See my technical SEO checklist.

I hope this SEO comic story helps you look at your own traffic with fresh eyes, because every good SEO comic story should end with a customer, not just a view. Next episode, Mitu and Seema face a new puzzle, and Noisy Aunty will have something to say again.

This SEO comic story comes from real life. When I first posted short videos for a business, nobody found them because my captions said almost nothing. Mitu makes the same mistake in this episode, and it is funny and painful at once.

Read the comic first, then come back for my take. If you want the basics, start with what SEO is and why it matters.

Episode 4 – Viral Reel Banayenge Kya?

This SEO comic story begins at the wildest moment. Mitu’s reel has gone viral and a crowd fills the bakery. Mitu screams, “Hai Ram! Ye reel kisne viral kar diya?” Paanwala sobs, “Meri paan ki dukaan kyun khaali hai?”

Three days earlier, the bakery was empty. Sougan smiled, “Aaj ek reel banayenge. Bas, viral hone ka darr mat rakhna!” Mitu trembled, “Reel? Camera ke saamne? Mujhe chakkar aa raha hai!” Who was the shadow at the window?

Noisy Aunty leaned over her balcony and shouted, “Haay! Bakery aur reel? Log kya kahenge, nautanki!” Mitu whispered, “Aunty, bas ek chhota sa video hai…” Toxic voices always get loudest just before you try something new.

Sougan explained at the chai stall, “Chai wala pehle khushboo se bulata hai. Reel ka hook wahi hai!” Seema asked, “Matlab pehle 3 second mein dil jeeto?” Yes. A strong hook, clear video and keywords help people find and watch your reel.

The shadow was Paanwala! He proudly said, “Maine bhi reel banayi! Paan hawa mein udta hai!” Sougan stayed calm: “Chalo, Peplio ka free tool se thumbnail theek karte hain.” Try the Image Optimizer Tool for sharp, light images.

Seema asks again, who will find the reel? Sougan explains that search needs clues. “Reel ko dhoondhna aasan banao: caption mein ‘cake near me’ likho!” Mitu gulps, “Mera caption toh sirf ‘hehe’ tha!” This SEO comic story shows why words matter.

The reel goes live and views climb fast. “Seema! Views badh rahe hain… aur koi ‘bada order’ ke liye call kar raha hai!” Even Noisy Aunty shouts, “Haay! Maine toh pehle hi kaha tha, reel hit hogi!” But who is calling?

Why this SEO comic story starts with a viral reel

Mitu’s crowd looks like magic, but it started with small, boring steps. In this SEO comic story, a reel only works when people can find it and want to keep watching. Search engines and apps both read clues, so give them clear ones. Read how Google explains SEO basics and see my own guide on how SEO works. Also read the SEO overview on Wikipedia.

Ignore Noisy Aunty and fix your hook

Noisy Aunty shouted “Log kya kahenge!” and Mitu almost quit. Do not let that voice win. Sougan’s chai stall idea is simple: win people in the first 3 seconds, like the smell of chai. Show the cake, the cheese pull or the problem right away. Check the YouTube Shorts help centre and the Instagram Help Centre for format tips. My guide on growing on Instagram goes deeper.

Thumbnails and speed: the Paanwala fix

Paanwala’s reel had a blurry cover, so nobody clicked. A sharp, light image loads fast and looks trusted. Use the Peplio Image Optimizer Tool before you upload. Fast pages also matter for websites, see Core Web Vitals on web.dev and my Core Web Vitals guide. Small files, big smiles.

Captions: this SEO comic story's real secret

Mitu’s caption was only “hehe”. Sougan changed it to “cake near me”, which tells people what you sell and where. That is search intent: think what a hungry person types. Add your city, product and a clear action. Set up a Google Business Profile too, and read Google’s local ranking tips. Then read my search intent guide. That is why this SEO comic story keeps shouting about words.

That is how this SEO comic story ends: with a ringing phone and one very big question about who is calling. Come back for the next episode, because every good SEO comic story needs a proper plot twist, and Mitu’s bakery is about to get one.

I once built a website and waited for customers. Nobody came. That real moment became this SEO comic story, where Mitu’s cake site loses to a paan shop on Google.

Read the comic below, laugh a little, and learn the two fixes that helped me. If you are new, my guide on what SEO is and why it matters is a good start.

Episode 3 – Website Ka Jadoo

In this SEO comic story, we start at the shocking moment. Mitu sees Google ranking the paan shop first. “Paanwala number one?! Hamara cake kahan gaya?!” Seema replies, “Google ne bhi taste test nahi kiya shayad.” But why is the bakery invisible?

Three days earlier, Mitu finishes her website. “Sougan bhaiya, website ready! Ab customers line lagayenge!” Sougan smiles and asks, “Sundar hai. Par Google ko ye dikhega kaise?” A website alone is not enough. People must be able to find it.

Noisy Aunty yells from her balcony, “Website se cake bikta hai kya? Log kya kahenge!” Mitu trembles. Seema stays smart: “Log Google pe kya type karte hain, pehle wahi dekhte hain.” That is the first step of SEO: know what people search.

At the chai stall, Sougan teaches. “Keyword matlab sign board. Log jo search karein, wahi likho.” Mitu asks, “Matlab ‘birthday cake near me’ likhna hai, ‘Mitu ka dukaan’ nahi?” Yes! Meanwhile, Paanwala is secretly copying every word. This SEO comic story has a twist.

At the cyber cafe, Sougan runs the Website Speed Analyzer. “Photos bhaari hain. Website kachua ban gayi hai!” Then Seema spots a rival site: “Aur ye kya? Paanwala ka naya ‘Cake Paan’ domain?!” TO BE CONTINUED…

Sougan opens the Peplio Image Optimizer and shrinks the giant cake photos. “Photo chhoti, website fast. Kachua ab khargosh ban gaya!” Mitu gasps, “Arre wah! Ek second mein khul gayi!” Fast pages help Google and visitors in any SEO comic story.

The bakery now climbs up on Google. “Seema, hum Google pe aa gaye! Upar upar!” cheers Mitu. Across the street, Paanwala spies and cries, “Meri Cake Paan site kaam kyun nahi kar rahi?!” But who really owns that mystery site? TO BE CONTINUED…

A website alone is not enough in any SEO comic story

Mitu thought a finished website meant customers would line up. Sougan asked how Google would find it. A site must be crawled and indexed first. Connect it to Google Search Console and read the SEO Starter Guide. I explain the whole flow in my guide on how SEO works. Also read the Wikipedia overview of SEO.

Keywords are your sign board

Sougan told Mitu to write what people type, like birthday cake near me, not just the shop name. That is search intent. Check real searches with Google Trends and see Google’s advice on title links. I explain this fully in my guide on choosing low competition keywords. For a local bakery, also set up a Google Business Profile.

Slow pages scare visitors: fix them

The site turned into a tortoise because the cake photos were huge. Test your pages with PageSpeed Insights and learn the metrics on web.dev Core Web Vitals. Compress images before upload. I explain this fully in my guide on Core Web Vitals. A fast page helps Google and people in every SEO comic story.

Copycats lose when you keep improving

Paanwala copied the words but his site still failed. Copying is weak; steady work wins. Keep your content helpful, as described in Google’s helpful content guidance, and follow the Search Console help center. Use the Website Speed Analyzer often. That is the real jadoo of this SEO comic story.
